Overview
The Trainee Systems Operator will support and operate bespoke AE Live software and third party programs including but not limited to Augmented Reality and Virtual Placement Systems. Guaranteeing preparation, technical setup and output on site or in studios.

The Systems Operator will:

  • Receive training on AE’s various camera tracking systems
  • Operate on-air delivery across the full range of AE Live’s client portfolio, including AR, VR, and BV pitch placement
  • Support Graphics Operators when using camera tracking systems
  • Conduct reports to the relevant departments, detailing any faults with the systems and equipment
  • Work to obtain an advanced skill set in order to conduct training and prep days in the office with the Operators
  • Be part of the internal team which focuses on the development of new software and broadcast technology
  • Commit to a flexible work schedule, which includes weekends and travelling abroad for long periods of time throughout the year when required.

    • The ideal candidate must:

  • Preferably have experience in an outside broadcast environment
  • Have a keen interest in sport, TV production and broadcast technology
  • Be able to trouble shoot and problem solve effectively
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be organised, punctual and have an exceptional level of concentration
  • Be able to handle high pressure situations
  • Have a Full UK driving licence.
